The best B&B on Long Island.
Just arrived home from the golden pinapple after spending the weekend there. It was overall a good experiance. The inn is really three bedrooms in the upstairs of an 1829 house filled with antiques. The owner Tom was very nice and made the best french toast I've had in years. The accomodations are extremley clean which is very important and although I have seen other reviews with concerns about his antique car collection taking up room in the parking lot there was plenty of room regardless. We stayed in the bunny room and although the bed was a bit small for the two of us " we are used to a king sized bed" it all worked out OK. It is only up the road from Port Jeff a slight bit and to the right. So you still need to take the car and park in town. The owners are doing everying green and everthing that they serve is organic and deliicious. All being said I would do it again if I was to stay in port jeff, and their kid is cute also.
