I spend money getting shoes cleaned heel tips changed and complete new soals on a regular basis and the man has the nerve to yell at me for complaining. Not even one kind word or apology to a VERY good customer who btw has been unsatisfied before and didn't complain. Disgusted. Will be sure to send a xmas card with a receipt from what i spend at the next local repair shop.

I went to Lenny's for the first time with two damaged pairs of shoes. He told me neither of them could be repaired. When I asked to buy shoe polish he told me I looked "like the kind of person who doesn't like to work hard," even though I had never been in the shop before.
Lenny will only take your shoes in for repair if they can be fixed. I like that. Some people will claim they can repair something, charge you, and then not stand behind the repair. Every shoe that I left with him, that he said he could repair, was returned on time and repaired at a good price.
The man who always works here (Lenny?) has always done excellent work on any shoe or leather repair he has accepted from me to work on. Exceptionally honorable, and very fair in what he charges for his careful work, as Emil mentioned in his review, this craftsman will only accept a job if he is sure he will be able to finish the work at the high level he demands of himself.
